I’m looking at it tonight. 1995 Honda Shadow ACE 1100 with a bunch of add-ons for less than the bike itself is probably worth without them. I’ve been wanting to switch to a cruiser, and this might just be it.

Also, my Honda PC800 is for sale, regardless of whether I pick this up or not.

Do eet. I have an 03 750 ACE and it’s a joy to have. Dunno how you feel about carbs though...

I’ve never not had carbs on a bike, so I’m used to them. If it’s as good as it looks I’m snagging it.

I don’t know anything about bikes, but that seems like a great deal. That would be what I would be looking for if I ever got a bike.

I don’t know the first thing about bikes, but that looks like a hell of a deal. That's pretty much what I would be looking for if I ever got a bike (and once I was comfortable at a lower CC).

I dunno about $3K though. Seems kinda pricey even with all the addons. I bought mine for $2200 with 10K on the odo.

You know what’s strange? This 1100 actually has LESS horsepower and torque than my current 800, both V-twins. I think that’s a trend with cruisers. Yet a 600 crotch rocket can go stupid fast.

The only ACEs I’ve seen around here under $3k or so are 750s, not 1100s.

I certainly wouldn't expect that. Remind me I never want to ride on a Hayabusa.

Great price. Looks good in pictures. I am trying to pickup a mustang seat myself for my VTX. Shaft drive means never having to say you’re sorry.

Single carb is easy. Just get it running right and it will love you like you are it’s prison bitch. I hope you like polishing chrome....

Nice! With all that space, you basically have a cruiser AND a touring bike, just take whatever on or off.

Good deal, it’s the best time of year to buy a bike. I bought my first one like this ten years ago. Had to get a ride to NH to buy it and learned to ride on the way back to Boston. I’m hunting Boston CL looking for a winter beater car right now.

There’s some interesting beaters in the area. I’ve been looking too, though definitely not buying since I’m going to have one bike too many...
